Bringing a production to the stage takes a lot of hard work and costs more than most of us think. Royalty fees have to be paid before receiving the rights to perform a production. Royalty fees alone can range from over $1000 for a non-musical and over $3,000 for a musical, plus there are other production costs that include scripts, orchestration, sets, costumes, props, make-up, advertising, and sometimes special effects.

To help defray the costs of producing a play and helping to keep the productions accessible to the attending public, SCP and Theatricks rely on sponsors and underwriters.
